NCA New Cooking Art GmbH – The Company

The NCA New Cooking Art GmbH is a young company founded by Cornelia Mühleisen and an investment company in January 2010.

The foundation was preceded by a development time of four years. In the year 2006 the husband of the company founder, Michael Mühleisen – who is by the way inventor of Fast Eddi – thought about how to use a microwave better and more efficiently.

Thanks to his education as a cook, chef and business economist he dealt a lot with thoughts about the improvement of operating procedures in canteen kitchens. He could not understand why the microwave was treated as the “stepchild” of the canteen kitchen and began to experiment with cooking in the microwave.

He was fascinated by the thought of being able to prepare a whole meal in the microwave within a short period of time. The company founder’s kitchen gradually became an experimental laboratory – measuring instruments could be found everywhere and the microwave itself was set with tubes. Every vessel suited for the microwave was converted into an experimental object.

After several weeks of testing the inventor could announce his first success – he found a possibility to cook various foods with different cooking times in the microwave all at the same time. Many tests followed until the inventor was completely satisfied with the result.

The idea was put on hold for some time, until friends and acquaintances of the Mühleisen family inspired Micheal to complete this inspiration and bring the household product onto the market.

By this time also the inventor’s wife, Cornelia Mühleisen, had joined the project works. Since she had been able to use this innovative product for some time, she was already convinced of the benefits of this system and could imagine that many other people would be interested in simplifying their lives with a product that represents such a perfect completion to ordinary cooking methods.

As a mother of four she was quite familiar with the problem of having to prepare various meals each day, since the children came home from school at different times. This new system saved the day – from now on every child could enjoy a freshly cooked and delicious meal in only four minutes.

Cornelia Mühleisen is convinced that this innovation is a unique, well-wrought system able to enrich the kitchens of many households.
